Have a random question about 0246135 in Accompaniment 2 (I checked simpedia and here before posting):

What is the reason we go in the particular order of notes on the keyboard by skipping up to F# from E and back down to its natural scale (i also realize these don’t have anything to do with the process) I’m understanding the concept of this process but I’m having a hard time connecting the dots to remember that particular interval skip since I don’t know why. If there is no why, that’s okay too, I just figured I’d ask. Thanks!
