I believe the voice memo won’t work on your phone. It didn’t on mine but I have a Samsung. I bought a voice recorder from an electronics store, which worked well and is not too expensive. My cat broke it. Now I just use the camera on my tablet. These videos are specifically for records and not published publicly anywhere. I use a Dropbox account to store my recordings. Really easy to use.

Voice memo app on my iPhone worked great for me – just be sure you sync your phone w/ your computer to upload the files and you should be good to go.

I used Voice Memo on iPhone too. I emailed myself all of the files as a way of backing them up.

Dropbox is Cloud Storage, there are a few different cloud storage options available. So you can just drag and drop the files into the app from your phone. Saves emailing them. You can then access the files from any device.

I don’t know how it compares to anything else, but I use an app called Voice Record on my iPhone.

If you have an iPhone, easiest to just record to video or memo (have you tried Music Memos app?). The files can be auto uploaded to either Dropbox, iCloud, or both. I do this and then just remove from my phone later to avoid using too much storage space.

I was recording on video, but couldn’t find a way to edit, maybe just me. I found the voice recorder app, FREE, it allows editing, and it seems for me the way to go. Now I’m just re-recording ugh! Taking me a while.

Is the app called Voice Recorder and Audio Editor? My iPad doesn’t have Voice Memo and I’d like to use my iPad rather than my iPhone. It’s free and has good reviews.
