I was wondering if anyones uses a tablet for sheet music, reference books, note taking etc. I saw the “remarkable“ tablet and thought it might work. I would love to decrease and organise all my paper work.

I use my iPad and it’s great! I save all SM reference books and music books into the Library. And I use sheet music apps for other resources.

We use Surface Pros for SM content, which is projected to TV above our pianos. We have webcams positioned over the pianos and the cameras are plugged into the Surfaces. We project the webcam image of the keys to the TVs. This tech allows us to show everything to students and parents during lessons. We also use the Surfaces to write music with staffpad.

I switched over to digital a couple years ago on my iPad. The ForScore app has been my go to for sheet music organization as well as teacher notes and just about any PDFs. It ago doubles as a fantastic white board for online lessons. When I taught in person I used an actual white board but I think I would have eventually transitioned to a smart board or projector had I continued.
One thing that many do not know about the ForScore app is that it integrates directly with MusicNotes.com and several other online sheet music providers. MusicNotes in particular is really good for finding lead sheets for popular music. Once you purchase an item, you can import it directly to ForScore from your online account without printing or downloading.

I switched to my iPad Pro and love not having paper books. I also keep all records on it, tuition, attendance, etc. and use apps for sheet music when needed.

I use an iPad Pro. It would be challenging for me to use a smaller iPad..…especially with my 64 yo eyes. It’s great for reading notated pieces and when doing Notion(notation app)

I think this was mentioned earlier this year, but I have a remarkable for just this thing and it’s the best thing ever. If you have any upper level students it’s also awesome because you can vet the score on musescore and then just download it to your remarkable through the app. You can also present on your computer. I recommend
