Halloween Piano Fun
Found in: Practicing & Playlists

I just wanted to share how much fun my students are having with the classic “In the Hall of the Mountain King” song. I had forgotten how much repetition it involves until I found it in my Halloween music folder and could instantly see the 5SS with some Chester-like finger shifts and broken C chord rolling down then back patterns. Even my Foundation 1 students can play the beginning patterns all the way up the piano adding their own Halloween lyrics. If you are looking for a catchy big hit with your students–this is it!

I love this song. I also use this visual with little kids for the rhythm , they love it.
