I’ve got my phone mounted over my keyboard as a camera with the lens facing down at the keyboard (camera view, not selfie view) and Zoom will NOT display the view horizontally! Instead it’s a vertical view only in the meeting. When I try to turn the phone horizontally so it will display the entire keyboard all it does it turn the image sideways.

if you hold the phone facing you in portrait then physically turn your phone sideways to landscape the picture should flip sideways. Then you can use in this orientation.

Turn your phone horizontally and wait for the picture to turn as well, before putting it in the mount. You do have to place it up there carefully to make sure it doesn’t rotate back to portrait mode.

I just posted a video the other day on this exact issue. It’s a common one.
Also I included pictures of exactly this, in one of the new handouts that is linked in all the recent SMCs, and lives in the Teacher Library:

Yes I do what Laurie does, hold in front of me sideways and then carefully flip it down flat. But it always shows the keyboard upside down at that point. I carefully turn it 180 degrees, still keeping it flat, and then the keyboards shows right side up.
