Incorporating duets into lessons

I would appreciate advice about incorporating duets into lessons. Do you sit at the bench together? I have two pianos, a keyboard, and a guitar in my studio, so i have the option of using another instrument.

I do duets at every lesson the same piano. If it’s a group, then use a keyboard or other percussion. Duets have multiple layers of cognitive and motor learning to offer.

Any accompaniment-style arrangement / Melody or improv
Any blues song / blues scale (or one triangle portion)

Arrangements of program songs with the original SM Foundation 1, 2, and 3 songs. Use piano and keyboard. I have a keyboard that makes some awesome organ sounds. We have a lot of fun with it.
