Question for today: What do you do in your studios to keep the Long-term Relationship conversation alive?
Bernadette A., California
Plan it in at every set up conversation.
Heidi M., Canada
I just ask where are they in this relationship. If the answer is in some sort of deep valley then I ask why, and it leads to some useful and helpful conversations. For one of my students, it was a particular song she was having trouble with…and just talking about it was the first step for her to come out of the valley and she did master the song. If she hadn’t talked about it, it would have been harder for her.
Katie S., California
I bring it up every 3-4 months or so to remind them (after the initial set-up conversation).
Janita P., Nebraska
I find it works best when I leave a copy of the LTR chart on the music rack. It reminds me to have the conversation with them and it gives them freedom to talk about it as it is so apparent.
