License Fees and Royalties

I have never thought it burdensome to pay royalties, or all the other expenses it took me to acquire the knowledge that I have so far through my training for all the levels, etc. It’s been a bargain. Don’t get me wrong; money is actually quite tight in my household. But, when I decided to pay the initial training, and then all through the experience of teaching these past 6 years, I counted the cost for my family, and found it to be a bargain. I get to teach my own children, saving thousands/year over paying someone else to do it. Plus, I get paid to teach others. If it becomes an even bigger bargain in future (by changing to a more efficient model), all I can say is wow–thank you! That is my sincere feeling.
With gratitude, not just to Neil for creating the program, but to all of you. I learn so much from you–thank you!

Thank you so much for your kind words, Sandy. I’m sure I can speak for the entire team at Simply Music when I say that it’s our pleasure to be of service to the entire teacher body. This is a very unique and exciting time in Simply Music’s history. There are so many good things on the horizon, and I’m really proud of the team and what we are building.
As we pass through this unchartered and challenging time, every ounce support helps us to navigate these waters.

I completely agree and see this as an investment in the future of Simply Music as an organization! Over the years as teachers get deeper into the program, the enormous value of the program really begins to sink in.
I just started a new student the other day and she got really emotional after learning Dreams Come True. She was just so happy that she was a part of this and had been given the opportunity to become a student of this incredible method, this incredible approach to piano and learning! We owe so much to Neil Moore for giving us this gift! It makes me happy too, to help affect so many lives with the power of music. I get excited when I acquire a new part of the program, because I know I’m growing as a Simply Music teacher. I’m also learning from every other teacher here and at meetings and each student along the way! Thank you Neil!!

I just want to second everything that Sandy said. I am so grateful to Simply Music and all the people who have touched my life because of SM. When I first heard about SM around 8 years ago (only what I read on the internet–I had never met anyone who was a student or teacher), I thought it sounded too good to be true and that I couldn’t afford the cost of teacher training. When I finally decided to sign on a year and a half later, I quickly realized that the cost of training was worth every penny!
Simply Music has changed my life in so many ways, all for the better. Including financially. I have no problem continuing to pay license fees and ed fees, and whatever costs are needed for training, etc. for as long as needed. And, as Sandy said, it’s not because money isn’t tight, but because it is so worth it! I’m making a much higher income teaching piano now than I would have ever dreamed possible back when I first started teaching traditionally. But, more importantly, I feel good about what I have to offer students and families, and I feel supported by everyone from the staff in the office to long-term teachers to new teachers just getting started, to students, their parents and grandparents! Simply Music is so much more than a piano method!
Thank you to all who are a part of the team!
