Returning to Face to Face Lessons

I was just wondering how many Australian teachers were teaching face to face in their homes. If so does that include all your students, and how many, do you still have coaches present?
If you are still teaching online when do you plan to go back?

Back to face to face lessons. Only have one group session of 3.
The others are one on one
With parent present

Yep but live in a regional area with no active cases for sometime now

no and I don’t know when I will. I may need to just wait till next year before I do. But that is only due to my circumstances of moving. If I hadn’t moved, I would have been back and just doing things as I’ve done before.

No Jane, I’m not doing face-to-face yet. It’s impossible to practice social distancing while giving a piano lesson. All mine are still online (for those that choose to do it).

I’m still online. Probably will be for the rest of term 2 if not longer, but I’m undecided!

I’m back to face to face with a parent sitting back. I clean the door knobs and wipe the piano between students and use hand sanitizer. I’m not touching their hands and teach them like I would for a group. I asked my students if they wanted continue on zoom or come to the studio and most came back but I’ve lost about a third due to them not having work or having to work more hours.

I’m still online. I’m loving it too. I’ll make a decision during July school holidays. I know Jane McCabe is staying online. What’s your thoughts ??

Depends on my paranoia level !! I have to watch out for various family members so I like to keep my bubble smaller rather than bigger. So may be I have just answered my question, and will wait a while. What I lose on in income balances out as now have a quiet life style. I still feel elderly students need to be careful.

I’ve given option to students. Half are now face to face
The ones who decided to stay online are either 65 plus or are in contact with loved ones who are elderly
