Dear Fellow Teachers,

I have had inquiries about details on the TV news coverage of SM. I hope each one of you could have the same experience. It was educational and fun. Just think how many potential teachers we could reach by having such coverage in our individual cities?!?

Initially I called the local TV station and spoke to a certain reporter who has been known to “do” such stories. I told him about the NEW Australian approach to teaching piano, the results I had been experiencing, and that I thought it was a newsworthy story. He asked me if I had any students.He passed it on to the Consumerwatch Reporter and I received a call the next day. I then set up weekly lessons with the reporter. They taped at four, eight and twelve weeks (live!). The free publicity has paid off—our phones and emails have been busy tonight!
