Change Audio Speed

I have an adult student asking if there’s anyway to slow down the audio songs in order to play along with them. She’s in Level 6 and would love to play along with the Gaz, and others but esp. the Gaz.
Maybe something corp. adds on the site. I never thought of this.

Whether or not SM ever builds anything like that into its own website, all students are free to download the SHM audio files, which means they can then put those audio files into any number of free/inexpensive websites and/or apps that will slow audio down. E.g., on a Mac, even the built-in QuickTime player has the ability to change speed somewhat. Other apps/websites have further options. Google “slow down audio”
Note also that YouTube itself has speed-changing options, so any song found there can be slowed down directly there without needing to plug audio files into special apps/websites.

I use Music Speed Changer. It’s awesome.

I’ve used The Amazing Slow Downer in the past. If you signed up with Better Practice App and have your students use it for practice, they have an accompanying band built-in, at least for the foundation level, and you can slow it down, too.
