Any advice on “Walk at 11”? I’m struggling with this one.

Do just one level per week (advanced levels may need more than one week). Level 1 LH isn’t too challenging because it is based on Honey Dew chords. Make sure you have them stick to the fingering Neil suggests because it preps them for Level 2. On Level 2, external speaker “to C to A to D to G” does help. Make sure they have other stuff going on because this one can get tedious, it takes so long to get through.

It really helps to say the target notes aloud as Neil mentions starting from the very first project. Work on the LH alone when incorporating the half steps until you feel confident, then add the RH. Incremental steps!

I think it’s helpful to take a good long look at each step in this project and think purposefully about how to bring every strategy into learning it. With so much of the SM repertoire up to this point, I find that I apply the correct strategies almost without thinking. With this piece, I found that I really needed to bring the process back into my consciousness very deliberately.
