Notating Compositions

I’m having my students compose and notate a piece. Of course notating rhythm is a challenge for some, but a wonderful way to have them ‘self generate’ as best they can. We do a ‘back in forth’ where I help them tweak it so it reflects what they want. [They email me a recording of the piece as well as their attempt at notation.] I also have some of them use the app “Notion” so it looks classy at the end! FUN!

Are you on free or Pro or weekly subscription? I tried using it and after just a few seconds it is asking me to upgrade to Pro, and I can’t get out of that screen.

I paid about $15 for the version I use. No subscription…
